I mean… I am not from USA so I think it would be SO MUCH more practical if you put the prices including tax (like literaly the rest of the world I believe and kind of confirming it in the comments)

I think people outside of the US do not realize that sales tax can have local city, county and state differences. I can drive 10 miles and the tax rate is different.

Honestly, as a Dutchie I’m with the customer in this one. The price listed should be the price paid, tax should be included in that. That however isn’t the fault of the employees.

sales tax is different state and its a % of the total spent and has to recorded as such. I live in Delaware, we don't have sales tax. I get confused for a second when shopping out of state

in Brazil the tax is already included in the price, so is a cultural shock to me that, in the US, the price displayed is not the price I have to pay

In Mexico all our prices have to be final when shown on menus or labels. No estar tax or surprises at paying. So much that there is a whole institution dedicated to make sure business respect this.
