@mariabookrecs: Continuing with the horrror books on my TBR by horror genre, today’s post is about botanical horror/ rot and decay 🥀. The only book I have read within this subgenre is Mexican Gothic and I loved it. So here are some books that feature nature as the main horror element within the story. I hope to read a few of these before the year ends. Hazelthorn, They Bloom at Night and Eat The Ones You Love are new releases and they haven’t come out yet, but I’m excited to read them. As always, some of these books are more focused on the romance or fantasy elements but they can still be considered botanical horror. (I have decided to do a slideshow instead of a video, as I have done with the other ones because I think it’s easier and better) Have you read any of these? What other books would you add to this list?🌾🍂💐 #BookTok #booktoker #booktokfyp #fyp #botanicalhorror #horrorbooks #tbr #bookrecs #sapphicbooks #sapphichorror #gothicbooks #horrorromance #yahorror #fantasybooks #tkingfisher #decay #naturehorror #dontlettheforestin #readersoftiktok #mlrio #2025books
