You can’t make carrot oil that way. First, you must dehydrate the carrot completely. Using fresh carrots will cause a significant amount of bacteria. The oil might last a few days in the refrigerator but immediately start to go bad and applying bacteria to your skin can cause an infection. Especially if there’s open wounds (freshly shaved skin, cuts, acne). This could even cause sepsis. Fully remove ALL traces of water (oven on lowest setting, dehydrator, air dry on a hot day), then you can proceed to infuse your oil.
