I can’t think of anything great that ever happened to me I wasn’t nervous about before. Uni interviews, job interviews, first date with my husband! 100% we need to be the voice telling them to do it

Yes supporting and nudging out of their comfort zone but the other important part is to teach them the skills to build resilience. Don’t leave them high and dry it can really backfire and put them off

100% I agree. My older daughter it exactly the same where as my youngest doesn't give a shit. Making them try things out of their comfort zone is a good thing.

Even my older kids who are in their teens & 20’s I have to say to them you have to sometimes push yourself out your comfort zone when they are apprehensive about doing as we all do from time to time🥰
