Would definitely recommend a slow feeder but also a stand to lift the bowl. Eating from the ground puts alot of strain on the neck especially for big dogs

Try him with a slow feeder toy, lots of mental stimulation as they have to work for their food and helps avoid tummy dangers from eating too quickly!

Free feeding my pets was probably the best decision. It’s a lot easier than you’d think. They may over eat at first but once they realize the food is always there, they only eat when hungry.

A trainer recommended to me to just toss the food all over the floor and it takes much longer for them to eat it and it’s very mentally stimulating!

I'd try and feed his kibble by hand throughout the day VS in a bowl. It's a powerful training tool and it goes to waste. Just some small advice, I train service dogs ☺️
