I work at an airport. People have no clue how many things have to happen for a flight to load, leave, arrive, and unload. Be patient people!! Be happy you arrived safely.

if the door is opened from outside, and the door is still armed, the lever automatically moves to the disarmed mode. Again this is for the modern aircrafts.

I’m a flight attendant and I have had people tell me that the slide cannot blow if the GA opens it from the outside while armed. I have been sitting in the jumpseat and the GA has been knocking.
