I think he's in the ballpark talking about the Netflix shows, but he missed the mark. The pacing of the Netflix shows wasn't stellar, but I don't really think that hurt Daredevil.

The conversations with Matt’s priest and when the punisher has him chained on the roof are my favorite parts of the whole show. They are the meat and potatoes with the fight scenes being the dessert

One of my favourite storylines on a TV show ever was the Punisher storyline from Daredevil, in which a lot of it was courtroom talks about the ethics and morals of Frank Castle's action

The thing that gets me is that the trailer clearly centres the "2 people in a room talking" stuff so (i) it's in there and (ii) they know it's what fans want or else the trailer wouldn't focus on it.

literally the only time that happened was the punisher and daredevil scene but that was executed amazingly every other 1 on 1 with the characters were not about that at all
