Are you stuck on a fun #christmasdessertidea this year? These Pine Cone Brownies were a huge hit at our friendsmas last night and are an easy crowd pleaser! We also apologise in advance for our CHAOTIC voiceover 🫠 The brownies are pretty easy to make (we used a box brownie mix to save time), however assembling them will take patience so you’ve been warned! Also, would recommend having a second person on hand to help, especially when it comes to coating the cones with the melted chocolate (this is a good #datenightactivity if you’re up for the challenge 😅) Ingredients: * Brownie mix of choice(we used Betty Crocker) * Sliced almonds (if you can't do almonds, use cereal flakes) * 250g chocolate chips (we used @Hershey’s ) * 1-2 tsp coconut oil (we ended up having to use more as the chocolate was to thick to coat the brownies) * Powdered sugar Directions: 1. Make and bake your brownie mix accordingly to the instructions (don’t over bake them, you want them to be gooey in the middle and easy to mould). 2. Once baked, let it cool down for a few minutes then remove any really crispy parts and start forming spoonfuls into cone shapes (it’s up to you how small or big you want to make them) 3. Carefully (they are super fragile!) place the almond slices in and around the brownie cones. 4. Put the pine cones on a tray lined with baking paper, and stick in the freezer for 30 minutes. 5. Melt the chocolate chips with coconut oil (we did this on the stove, but you can do in the microwave too). 6. Take the pine cones out of the freezer and carefully coat each one with the melted chocolate (this is a two person job). 7. Place the pine cone brownies in fridge to set. 8. Sprinkle some powdered sugar on top *NOTE* we used two brownie mixes so doubled the recipe and made 12 large pine cones. HAPPY BAKING! 🥳 credit: @Colorful_Superfoodie #christmasdessert #pineconebrownie #makebrownieswithme #datenight #holidaybrownies #brownierecipe #christmasdessertideas #chocolatecoveredbrownies #christmasbaking #christmasbakingideas #funnyvoiceover #couplestiktok #foryou #fyp
