Located in the nostalgic Empire Centre food.court (you know, the one with the chaotic parking lot), James Snacks was a true gem. Famous for its crispy rice bottoms and hearty portions, favourites like Minced Beef with Egg and Short Rib with Chinese Sausage felt like a warm hug in every bite. The closure notice found by our Noms Mag community member thanked customers for their years of support, but it’s a tough goodbye for locals who grew up enjoying their iconic clay pot rice.
