I live in Arizona. Between the heat, the wind, and mansion season, you have to build with cinder blocks or concrete. Wood just can’t hold up.

We used your method to build a wall planter in our front courtyard(with a gate!) everyone loves it! It’s been going for 3 years now and we have 1 crack in the stucco from settling but it looks great.

Besides looking beautiful and creating a wall, it will last forever! You could buy a pretty one for $150 but in 2 years, you’d need to replace it. Awesome DIY!

I have one. When you tire of it, it’s extremely hard to remove. Even with compaction & gravel, they sink & can tip with time. Maybe stake inside w/rebar
