I just looked at your listing and there was a a 197 cleaning fee and over 100 in air bnb fees so the 3 nights went from 537 to 945 it’s pretty self explanatory and the 10am check out 😉

We travel a lot and have stopped using Airbnb because so many owners want you to clean the house, do the laundry, take out the garbage etc and pay a $200 cleaning fee.

A glimpse into my life :
After your fees for a weekend in February it’s $1500 for 3 nights, a few miles away a Hilton garden inn that sleeps 4 is $150 per night and includes breakfast and late checkout, I’m not leaving at 10

I agree w everyone saying fees/ cleaning, but I also stopped using Airbnb b/c it has created a culture of property hoarders that drive up local rent so less actual residents can afford to live there.

Here is the problem: cost. I just priced out your cabin and the nightly rate was low but add in cleaning fee, taxes and Airbnb servixe fee it was over 600. Hotels nearby were as low as 86 dollars a

Staying at an Airbnb feels like staying at your unfun grandparents house where you’re afraid to use or misplace anything and you feel like a nuisance.

The fact that you feel the need to “not go lower than a hotel” is exactly why you aren’t getting guests. Air b&b used to be a cheap alternative to hotels and were chill. Now you pay double or triple and you have to clean up after yourself, no free breakfast, less amenities. It’s self explanatory.

I’m not saying you do this, but I stopped staying at Airbnb’s because of the binder of chores. I had to strip beds, take out trash, wipe down kitchen. Hotel is more relaxing

Airbnb was intended for people to find cheap non-commercial accommodation but it turned into commercial renting with intended to maximize profits. Therefore you can go straight to a hotel ✌️

It’s the humiliation with the fees and the chores. I can stay at a hotel and am treated like a welcome guest. AirBnB I am treated like I should the thanking the owner instead of the other was around

We stopped using Airbnb because of the fees & the cameras. We are required to clean up before we leave while also being charged a $200-$300 cleaning fee. It's usually not even $300 clean at arrival.

the fact that you have "hot water" as an amenity is crazy pants. starting at 224 before any fees and no breakfast. I have a hot tub at home.....

I’m DONE DONE with Airbnb! Having to walk around the place to check for damage upon arrival, having to depend on a mgmt co to communicate issues AND don’t get me started on the cleaning fees, NOPE!

Fees is why I stopped booking Airbnb. You might close to hotel fees per night but add in all the extra that gets tacked on and that makes it less appealing

Hear me out. I can’t check in until 4 but are required to check out at 10:00/11:00 but we pay for the entire day.. Then I spend 2 hours cleaning with the chore list. Let’s pray everything goes good.
