Good builders don’t need this, so I don’t think it’s a good business personally. Good builders will have over a year’s worth of work booked up.

Going to learn the hard way how utterly pai ful those will be. You'll never truly know the jobs real price, quote to getting paid could be anything fro. 2 weeks to 6 mo the depending on how much work they have on and size of the job. I know because I did the exact same thing but door to door 30 years ago!

Do you ever have to chase the builders for the cash ? Do they ever “forget” to pay you ? Is there a written contract ? Are builders keen to sign written contracts ?
