Make sure your account won’t be mad at you after this trip 2. KNOW YOURSELF! Be mindful of your space & ability to maintain constant plant care! Should you opt for a plant that thrives in medium to low light & requires little to no care OR are you a plant micromanager like me and prefer to buy plants that need more attention? 3. Try your hand at the 2in pixie plants! If you are ever unsure of your ability to care for a specific plant, try the small pots! 4. GOOGLE IS YOUR FRIEND. Pick up your phone and Google the care requirements on your selected plant. I promise - I still do this as a plant momma to over 400 plants 5. INSPECT THAT PLANT! Make sure you take time to really look at your selected plant ensuring that it’s pest free! PRO-TIP: Always purchase the plant with active new growth. That is a good sign that the plant has a healthy root system and will have less trouble accumulating to your home.
