If you watch the Michael Vick 30 for 30. It says the house the dog fighting was taking place was a place for his friends. Based on NFL people his biggest mistake was trusting people he grew up with

Met and talked to him for over an hour. He’s genuinely one of the nicest former players I’ve ever met.

I’m gonna argue that cancellation process is one of the biggest driving courses that makes people go through such a big change and without the judgment and the hate and the loss of everything 1/2

Not saying what he did was “fine” but of all the terrible things nfl players did in the 90s and 2000s it’s ridiculous he was the only person who got in trouble for the most part

He is truly amazing and is the PERFECT example of making your wrongs right, even without knowing IF he would have a second chance. He’s the best!

The problem with forgiveness is.... if you give too much of it... people never learn and repeat their mistakes and wrong doings because people keep forgiving them. This guy did a lot of work and

Vick is a cautionary tale about not judging a person based on their upbringing.

without the cancellation would we have seen the same rehabilitation though? I agree people can change but people also need to face consequences for their actions

The main point of Vick’s story is that he put the work in, continues to put the work in, and showed genuine remorse. He didn’t just demand forgiveness.

also he gave one of the best and most genuine apologies you'll ever hear. he took full 100% responsibility for his actions. blamed no one but himself.

If you knew his story it wasn’t him doing the fights. It was people around him that did it while he wasn’t around.
