I work for good will and we do this and send it to different stores!!😁 we do this because it makes more room for you guys to shop and the cloths are not tight because we put more clothes out daily if we did not pull the clothes the store would be a mess !

as a goodwill employee, management tells us to do “color pulls.” it’s how we get our production going and we do it on the FINAL day of the week’s color, meaning customers had all week to shop that sale color. We don’t just go around pulling off sale tags any time we want, we do it to maintain production and we sure don’t have any control over what we put or pull from the sales floor, please don’t start bashing supervisors or associates for the jobs that corporations tell them to do

It’s a way to rotate inventory. The items that don’t sell go to another facility the bin stores to be sold per pound. I worked in processing and as a lead cashier

Let’s not leave out they closed dressing rooms, say you can do return but fail to mention you don’t get your money back you get store credit so they get your money either way!

I don’t go to Goodwill anymore. Last I went they had an item from Dollar Tree marked $8. This was back when DT was only $1.

hell the Goodwill's prices where I live is so high now you might as well go to Walmart or Macy's anyways cause their prices are just as high now!! ridiculous

I volunteered at a goodwill. The amount of donations they receive are overwhelming to say the least. They have to do this to make room for more things. Go when they open, usually did it in the afternoon

This has been going on for years. When the ceo goodwill realized people were reselling he had employees started sifting the stuff and Goodwill started their own ebay. Goodwill is not a charity .

Its true I used to work at a Goodwill and thats what I had to do take down the cloths with the colored tags for that week. thats why you can't find any when shopping
