its because silicones are harder to wash off than regular oils making it harder for hair to gain moisture again. it’s esp worse if u have low porosity hair

so do OILS. why are oils seen as ok but not silicones? they do the exact same thing, and BOTH can cause build up and prevent moisture if used improperly
