I worked in a grocery store and we weight the packing prior to adding meat and set the machine accordingly with the pack weight subtracted.

Yeah I worked at thrifties in the meat department we weigh everything, including the the Styrofoam packaging too we don't tare that that's in the price as well I kept bringing up how we shouldn't do-1
