a kid i knew was like 1 or 2, unkowingly swallowed penny from floor. was months of docs before realized it was sitting on top of her airway just so, making breathing raspy like a cough or asthma.

I ate multiple pennies as a kid, and they came back up on their own, I still remember the sound of that throw up hitting the floor 😭 in retrospect i can't believe I wasn't taken to the ER still...

My Mom kept the dime that I swallowed as a toddler for 30+ years. For my wedding she glued it to my high heel as the “sixpence for my shoe” 😂
