@willwanderforfood: This is one of the most underrated Bay Area bakeries, and they recently opened their second location. Owner and pastry chef Michelle creates some of the prettiest and tastiest pastries. They make my favorite local cannelé - looks simple, but hard to do well. The buckwheat brownie was a huge hit - so fudgy with contrasting cocoa nibs, and gluten free. I loved the pull-apart sugary layers in the lavender rose bun. Another staple, is the passionfruit almond tart, and it’s gluten free as well. They also bake savory bread and focaccia. And we sipped on rose lattes with pistachio milk.
