I was on Carboplatin, taxol and cisplatin. The only one I had MILD nausea with was Cisplatin. I was diagnosed the day before my 31st birthday. And I’m literally all anxiety and have suffered (1/2)

Does chemo affect older people different than younger? My mom was diagnosed with aggressive BC and finished very harsh treatment in 6 months with no side effects at all. Clear scans at the end too.

Make sure you are very, very well pretreated for nausea on your first cycle. Studies show this reduces nausea in subsequent cycles.

it was the oxiplatin that made me sick. as treatment progressed I got sick from the first day of treatment of a new cycle until my oncologist took me off of it. I was still sick but not as bad

I always threw up the first night of my chemo rounds. It was awful. Felt nauseous throughout every round as well. So glad to be done with that!

mthfr mutation can't tolerate chemo ,it creates recurrence/metastasis cause chemo cant leave/detox from the body. plus is too dangerous for the heart
