It only takes like 10 mins to remove the steering column and 3 to 5 mins to remove the failed steering lock. Once you do this often it’s not hard at all. also I wouldn’t install an emulator 🤷♂️🤷♂️

it's not the immobilizer there's a battery in the center console now granted it's a little tiny battery about the size of one that would go in a four-wheeler tiny battery I know this all Mercedes

Once you start doing them ofter, the whole process of removal the column, cutting the bolt and putting it back together will take 45 mins.. another 10 mins to program the emulator and off you go.

removing steering column on this one is actually easier than it looks. takes half an hour maybe. done quite a few

yea just replace the elv, common problem. you can try to unhook the battery a few times to unlock it. Replacing it is way easier that way

Why you do it so complicated. From start to finsh 1-1,5h job. Remove column 5 polts, remove esl program emulator and put all back.

I just did this in November wowww and put one of those devices in ,problem solve and those Amazon motors for 12 dollars didnot work,but am up an running , it took about 1 hr and 45 mins
