Most hostels I stayed in pretended that the door locked and you had to open with a key but the reality was you could just open the door normally 😂

the cleaning staff from the last hotel i stayed at kept leaving the door wide open 🥴 we made several complaints and based on the reactions we got, it seemed like that was a frequent issue
