my therapist says to acknowledge them and let them be. not to just mentally say "stop it" and move on. it's important to observe them and understand they come from a part of you for a reason.

I was depressed for years. I took many different types of medication. nothing worked. I slowly started to give myself positive reinforcement. I fought my mind and cleared out the garbage. I read books and tried really hard to keep a good mindset. I'm older now and not depressed. I actually love life. ❤️
