@wildergardenaz: My sister helped me dream up this idea over coffee yesterday! Less than six hours later it was a reality thanks to our brother and my husband! She helped me relocate my beautiful plants to a multi-functional piece that warms up the room, creates a living wall between the living room, and helps keeps my countertops clear. d could not love it more! Also, under $80 for supplies. Plants and labor not included. BASIC TUTORIAL: 8x8x2 piece of wood These are pendant lights that used to be “can” lights. Pendant lights come with a conversion kit that is easy peasy. That I did on my own. Moving on to the shelf.. laser level is a must have tool for this project. We put the piece of wood on the counter and the laser level pointing up at the ceiling to determine where the holes for the lights and the anchors in the ceiling needed to be. We had to splice the electrical cord, string through the wood and then reattach. Not as hard as it sounds. We bought 2 large basic eye hooks for the ceiling and 4 smaller for the shelf to attach the basic chain. All bought @The Home Depot #DIY #wintertherapy #houseplants #kitchen #kitchendesign #floatingshelves #hangingplants #plantshelves #plantlovers #livingwall #lovemypeople
