I didn’t have CC debt for 20 years until we moved to NC in 2021 and shit went sideways. I wish I had NEVER opened a credit card!

Girl. I have 150k in credit card debt. I know. Depression hit hard and now I’m paying for it. Do you think debt consolidation is an option?! I’m dying w these min payments that I know are not making a dent. I am contemplating filing bankruptcy.

I have 6k of credit card debt from Covid and I’ve been trying to pay it off but as soon as u pay 200 dollars a month or more they hit me with interest charges even more than what i paid.. i NEVER use my credit cards. I just want it all gone 😭😭

Only keep one ☝️card open. And don’t use it At all , use only debit card 💳 because u fill that pinch 🤏🏼 right away , so ur spending habits will decrease. Close all the other accounts. U don’t need a good credit score, because u don’t have money to begin with, however u do need a working credit card 💳 to reserve places and services that u want to visit or experience.

I do see loans for $9,500 and I am tempted to do it, but the interest is 20% and idk if I want to pay that much 😂 but my credit card is 29%

I totally understand and agree with this to a point but how are you ever going to see the light at the end of the tunnel when you make a $600 payment and $300 goes to interest. It’s disheartening

Spot on. I essentially asked chat about this and it told me I could move my cc debt into a consolidated loan with an APR that’s half of what the cc was, but it’ll only work if I essentially freeze my cc so I can’t spend anything else on it. I’m fine w that. Too much damage already fr 😭

What your advise on working on debt relief companies to get rid off your debt is that a good idea is gonna hurts your credit do you think it’s worth it or is best to take a person loan to consolidate to all credit debt?

This will 100 percent change the way things have worked out for my husband and I. Once we have paid this off, that it's it. We are usually very good with our money and are amazing at saving. But the plan for me to start working did not work out and we are kinda drowning rn.

I only say maybe myself depending on rates and your mindset on spending already has changed ! Otherwise you consolidate it and don’t rack up more debt !! So I say maybe too ! 🥰
