If you put all those clorine pucks through the skimmer, isn’t that bad for corroding the pumps, piping and metal parts within the pool mechanisms? Also the heater

Another reason to not put chlorine tabs into the skimmer is it can destroy the heat exchanger but it is so helpful in a lot of situations
