Pokémon, production and their distribution centers just needs to get stricter about who can resale pokemon products. One group of people ruined the entire thing.

As I walked up to an empty PK vending machine, an employee at Vons told me that the woman who stocked the machine had told her that these scalpers will wait and follow her from location to location

Scalpers in my area pay the vendor under the table. So vendor tells them when he will be in what store to restock, they pull up 30mins before to camp out. Once they’re done “setting up” and take their photo of proof to distributors, scalpers rush. 1/2

So I actually found this out from a nice lady, there’s discord servers where the scalpers have paid off the restockers so they literally follow them around in their cars so they get first pick

card shop owners are going to all retail stores and buying prismatic for MSRP because they couldn't get a lot themselves when they ordered product through their distributor

I know that the distributor (person bringing the goods), could know their schedule and tip off a friend and split the profit. They have the energy because you could easily make like 30$+ per ETB (1)

it's not usually one person. it's usually what you thought. restocks are generally predictable, especially with Target and Accel (their distributor).

It’s cause they don’t have actual jobs. Scalping is their main income. If anything someone is the bread winner and taking care of them. They have the time to sit in front of target or GameStop
