I have a 2017, same problem. Talked to a few shops, many different opinions, decided to have the pan dropped,changed the filter and new transmission fluid $425. Drives and shifts perfectly, like new.

I work at a ford dealer and I’ll say this! It does in fact fix it… but for how long 3-6 months.. then it’ll need a converter

I’m in servicing my transmission every 50,000 miles now my 2015 Infiniti Q70L has 227,000 miles. It’s still drives like a mint car.

I saw a lady on here who was ready to junk her Explorer because of transmission problems. Ford mechanic flushed it 3x, used 4 filters and it ran like new. Said Ford was just realizing this was the fix

Drain and refill isn’t the same as a flush a flush can push particles into small holes and plug things up also IT MUST BE DONE CORRECTLY

we recommend fluid and filter changes... fluid flush machines can damage seals forcing fluid and debris through the transmission

idk about that truck but my tundra used to have some light shuddering when going up hill and accelerating. after I pulled the pan changed the filter and just refilled it with new fluid it fixed it

my wife's 17 expedition did the same thing at 175,000 changed the filter and fluid. good as new.
