@itslizmiu: HAPPY LUNAR NEW YEAR 🧧✨🐍 Sharing one of my favourite traditions: Yee Sang (Yusheng/Lo Sang/Lohei) - the prosperity toss salad! A popular Lunar New Year dish mostly amongst Chinese Malaysian and Singaporean families. It’s a vibrant and colourful salad, traditionally topped with raw fish, which everyone tosses together while shouting blessings to each other. It’s said that the higher you toss, the greater your fortunes! The prep is easy but time consuming as there are so many pats and definitely a labour of love. For this year’s Yes Sang I’ve done carrot, cucumber, Radish, citrusy pomelo, crispy fried sweet potato, coriander, fried wonton skins, crunchy roasted seaweed, vegan salmon - made from konjac and golden toasted sesame seeds. The sauce is made from a base of sweet plum which is poured all over the salad right before tossing! Happy Lunar New Year everyone. #YeeSang #LunarNewYear
