I heard this could cause salmonella... I put mine in the fridge and they last about a week. when i buy them, i actually leave them on the counter until they are become the softness i like, then I put them in the fridge and they basically stay at that stage for days, it basically pauses the process.

you can put them in the frig, without the water, and they'll last that long too

I was shocked when a friend of mine showed me how to make guacamole last for well over a week without darkening or going bad, put it in a glass bowl cover the top of the guacamole with a little bit of water just enough to cover and put it in the refrigerator when you want to use it in a few days, you just pour the water off and stir it up. It’s like new.

I have 2 trees up to 600 a year sometimes, is there any long-term, like 6 months or more to preserve them???

or just put them on your refrigerator does the same thing. Cold storage works. We have a avocado tree here in Hawaii. we just keep them in a refrigerator. You're Welcome!🫳🎤
