I had this conversation with a friend around Christmas. She said wax or parchment paper for cookies? I told her imo wax paper shouldn’t even be in the kitchen 😂

I use wax paper to turn out and shape my bread roll doughs but parchment paper to bake. Only because we ended up with 2 rolls of wax paper and I don’t want to waste it

My mother used waxed paper as a liner of sorts on some of her homemade cakes and other things. Never gave it a thought until now. We all survived & thrived ;)

My mom bought wax paper just for covering stuff in the microwave so it wouldn't make a big mess in there haha. She never used parchment for anything. I do now though 🤪🤣
