If you’re consistently hitting the minimum pass percentile on your NBME forms you will be fine, I was always borderline right at the 60th percentile on mine, felt much worse on test day and still got the P

Honestly, only test I can validly say is hardly than Step is the “master sommelier” test, only 24 people in the world a year take it

I think pass rates tell a good story and it has like an 85-90% pass rate in the US. Total side note, CFA level 1 has the same average study time and has a pass rate of like 35%

This exact same thing happened to me when sitting for my histotechnology exam. And sitting for my exam despite my professors writing the exam- I failed. I graduated with a 4.1 GPA from my program.
