Winners will be contacted in Feb 2025. Thank you for the treats. I’m making fried seaweed rolls (a version of gimmari) to mark the occasion. They are elite. You need: 1x Buldak Carbonara - cooked as per package instructions and cooled. 8 sheets rice paper 2 sheets nori (cut into 8 squares) Sliced mozzarella (optional) Frying oil Buldak sauce Soften one sheet of rice paper in water for 5-7 seconds. Place it on a flat surface and layer a square of nori in the middle. Add a small portion of the cooled ramen and a slice of mozzarella (if using). Roll tightly like a spring roll, ensuring the ends are sealed. Repeat for all rolls. Heat enough oil in a small saucepan to 2cm depth (180°C or until a wooden chopstick dipped in the oil forms rapid bubbles). Fry the rolls in batches until golden and crisp, about 1-2 minutes per roll. Ensure that they don’t touch as they will stick together in the hot oil. Remove and drain on a paper towel.
