@andrewcodesmith: Use to code, yes. As a therapist, no 👾 I’ve been using DeepSeek all week. I personally believe the privacy is overblown for personal use (i.e not a business/government organisation) but with this one, I’d treat it with caution. It also leads to many questions about bias which could get messy. But generic code is a different story. It’s really good. And an amazing achievement, and a win for the beauty of open source. I feel AI needed this, and it’s a wake up call for American imperialism/complacency (which is tiring, as a European). #programming #coding #softwareengineer #techtok
