I worked in hospitality. We had a complaint that none of us were native English speakers. We were all native English speakers. Some were bilingual.

My gma used to get mad at me for speaking spanish w my mom but was ok w her other grandkid speaking turkish (whom had no turkish heritage). I dont think it had to do w her not understanding spanish😒

being bilingual should be the norm know, my kids speak and write in Spanish and English and we are currently taking mandarin, why are people so lazy to learn another lenguaje
