⛰️ Summit elevation: over 14,000 ft
🛣️ Drive: About 28 miles round trip from the entrance to the summit
🎟️ Reservations: Timed-entry reservations are required during the operating season and must be booked through Recreation.gov.
📅 Season: Typically opens around Memorial Day and closes around Labor Day, depending on weather and road conditions. Stops worth making along the way:

Bring plenty of water, layers, sunscreen and snacks, and give yourself time to acclimate. Weather can change quickly above treeline, and the road can close due to snow or other conditions. 💡 Tip: Check road conditions and book your timed entry before heading out.
