A good rule of thumb is use the specific variation of the LNY holiday that specific person is celebrating! Since rednote users are mostly Chinese, they’re specifically celebrating Chinese New Year!

Thank you. Chinese new year date has also factored in solar calendar. It’s not completely based on lunar calendar. Please add solar into the phrase if you insist on getting rid of the Chinese wording!
