I have hemochromatosis as well and didn’t know this until I went to the ER for vomiting blood - my blood count was still extremely high despite the fact and they were like sooo that’s not normal 🤠

As a GI PA and now knowing you have hemochromatosis, I would strongly urge not to drink alcohol as it can increase your iron levels along with increasing your risk of liver disease/cirrhosis.

I have hemochramotosis too. I do the carnivore diet and it has done nothing to my levels. I still go only every 6 months for phlebotomy. I was diagnosed 15 yrs ago.
