Explain how it makes sense why the server who brings my $20 breakfast gets $4 tip, the server who brings my $50 dinner gets $10. They both did the same exact thing.

I think it’s ok to not tip, just make sure you let your server know at the beginning so they can focus on the tables that will be tipping for service 🤷🏼♀️don’t waste the servers time

I tip based on service. I went to Black Angus during pandemic no AC was on very limited tables limited staff, but my server was stellar. I tipped her a 50 on a 100.00 bill she ran out to my car to thank you.

In Holland they pay the waiters/waitresses a good wage and so tips are not expected at all. My dutch friends would tell me not to when I would go to tip... lol

I’ve been in the restraunt business for 18 years and the reason why we ask for 20% because we have to tip other people that work there a big amount now. Back in the day it was a lot lower

It's not restaurant culture ruining it. It's EVERY other type of place trying to get in on it. All the other FULL hourly paid positions that turn the tablet around with the gratuity options.

As a server, I have to tip out 7.5% of my sales to the restaurant.so if I don’t get tips, it’s coming out of my hourly wage. I hope this helps.

I deliver pizzas and I feel like that. At least $2 or $3. Im not joking on this cause I need tips on gas wear and tear on my car and all. It’s a lot to take care of just as a pizza delivery person.
