Even if ppl with any of those conditions are hired, does he not understand that if they weren’t capable of the job, they wouldn’t have passed their training, and so wouldn’t be on the floor at ATC.

He’s distracting from the fact that his firings and freezes contributed to this. Becoming an ATC is incredibly hard, and it doesn’t seem it was the controllers fault in this case
