@thatgoodnewsgirl: Humans have called puffins unintelligent for ages, but they’re proving us wrong. 🐧 We already knew that puffins are incredibly social, and even seem to be intelligent enough to take the opinions of others into account, which is how Project Puffin, designed by Steve Kress (aka the Puffin Man) was a success. 💜 And, two puffins in different locations have been caught on camera using sticks as backscratchers, making them one of the few bird species known to use tools.
