ATC asked that helicopter pilot several times if he had a visual on the plane pilot sad yes and took visual separation responsibility and collided with the plane pilot error

situational awareness is an absolute requirement of any military personnel operating an aircraft. how 3 pilots can't see a slow moving commercial jet in their direct flight path is confusing

Blackhawk pilot error imo. ATC asked the heli do you have sight of the crj. Heli pilot confirmed. And was taking visual separation, but until the NTSB releases their investigation we are assuming

Lots of planes coming and going. The controller failed twice to inform the helicopter pilot of the position of the aircraft in question, e.g., 11 o’clock, if the aircraft was not in line of sight
