Smoked Corned Beef Brisket Burnt Ends If you haven’t tried burnt ends made from a corned beef brisket, you’re missing out! This cook took about 6 hours, but the end result was pure BBQ gold—tender, smoky, sweet, and packed with flavor. What You’ll Need: ✔️ Corned Beef Brisket Flat (3-4 lbs) ✔️ Olive Oil (binder) ✔️ TD’s Sweet BBQ Love Rub (or your favorite rub) ✔️ TD’s Atomic Pineapple BBQ Sauce (or your favorite sauce) ✔️ Light Brown Sugar (to taste) ✔️ Orange Peach Mango Juice (to taste) ✔️ Butter (one stick, never margarine) ✔️ Cherry Wood Chunks for smoking ✔️ Charcoal & Chimney: lump charcoal (one chimney full) ✔️ Smoker: Char-Griller Smokin’ Champ 1733 How It’s Done: 1️⃣ Prep: Lathered the corned beef brisket flat with olive oil as a binder and seasoned all sides with Sweet BBQ Love Rub. Let it rest at room temp while the Smokin’ Champ warmed up. 2️⃣ Smoke: Fired up the grill to 300°F, offsetting a full chimney of lump charcoal in the main grilling area. Added a cherry wood chunk for smoke, left the top smoke stack half open, and used a drip pan with no water. • Placed the brisket away from direct heat and smoked to an internal temp of 165°F (about 2 hours). 3️⃣ Wrap & Braise: Transferred the brisket to a foil pan and added brown sugar, butter, BBQ rub, orange peach mango juice, and Atomic Pineapple BBQ Sauce. Covered with foil and placed back on the smoker. • Cooked to an internal temp of 205°F at 300°F (about 90 minutes). 4️⃣ Burnt Ends Magic: Removed the meat, cubed it, and placed it back into the foil pan with the BBQ juices. Added more brown sugar, butter, rub, and sauce. • Cranked the heat to 400°F and cooked uncovered for 90 minutes to caramelize and thicken the sauce. 5️⃣ Rest, Plate & Enjoy! 🔥 #fyp #bbq #cornedbeef #stpatricksday #Recipe
