Step into a magical ✨ wonderland with Ayza’s enchanting Fairy first Birthday cake 🧚🍄 A 2 tier cake with a spacer in between both tiers that I decorated. 10” 4 layers and 6” 2 layers both lemon cake with lemon curd filling. She gave me full creative freedom to design her cake and this by far, to date is my favorite cake I’ve made for a birthday. I made majority of the decor pieces like the mushrooms, fairy doors, roses etc all from fondant that I colored matched to the theme. The butterflies and fairy’s are made from card stock. I went with a fairy garden for the bottom 10” tier and added a mint green fondant fairy door and painted the hinges and knob gold and added a mix of beautiful florals all around the cake with 2 gold fairy’s on the flowers, fondant mushrooms and added 2 size edible pearls all around with a glitter butterfly above the fairy door. The 6” I went with an all mint green cake with a pink fondant fairy door and gold painted hinges and knob with fondant roses this time aligning around the door frame and a glitter butterfly above it. I made branched rose vines to represent fairy wings on both sides and added sugar pearls in 2 sizes all around. Added the custom cake topper with pink roses behind it and my handmade fondant mushrooms surrounding the top and a few glitter butterflies. I completely decorated the cake spacer to go with the fairy garden theme, couldn’t forget the greenery.
