Altitude at impact will be the key. If more than 200 ft then the chopper is at fault because max altitude is 200 ft in that area.

I still don't understand how a slow flying helicopter with excellent views front and side could not see the extremely bright landing lights of the air liner.

Saw a good recreation from the heli view where the angle of the plane blends in perfectly with the city lights and the airplane literally jist appears im guessing that's what Happend
