In the UK, veterinarians are allowed to refuse euthanasia if they don't agree with it. I have also personally rehomed dogs that clients have requested to be PTS. I'm sorry that this isn't the case 4u

My uncle and wife moved from SA to UK and bought all of their pets at a huge expense because they knew their responsibilities when they got them. Shame others see pets as throw away goods.

I moved to the UK from SA and not only did I bring my 1 large dog and 2 cats with me, but I insisted they fly on the same flight as well. I refused to be separated, aside from them having to fly cargo
