at Birka, I was a reenacting Viking, tourists believed we were a resorvation asked stuff like if the children goes to school. It was hard to get them to realize we was on vacation not living there😅.

Got the question once, i said there are Viking reservations but they don't want to interact with modern society like the Amish. But we consider them as indigenous people. 😂

Fun fact: Vikings weren’t an ethnic group, so no, you can’t claim to be Viking. It was a profession, just like trade etc.
