@abc7chicago: A waste employee had a “very close call” when an oxygen tank exploded inside a garbage truck after it was “illegally placed” in a trash can in Whitehall, Ohio, on January 29, the city said. The City of Whitehall released footage showing the employee emptying some trash into the back of the truck before the sudden explosion. “Know the dangers! Hazardous and explosive materials can be found in everyday items, so be aware of proper handling and storage,” the city said. #news #ohio
