@anna..papalia: 🚨When you receive a job offer NEVER accept it on the spot because companies never lead with their best offer and if you accept the first offer you are accepting the worst job offer. 
 
👩🏽‍💻Don’t get hung up on the salary. There are so many other things that you can negotiate;

📆 Ask for more PTO. 
💰Ask for a sign on bonus. 
⭐️Ask for a relocation bonus. 
📈Ask for a bigger annual bonus. 
👑Ask for a better title. 
 
📌Companies expect you to negotiate. Stop telling yourself that they are going to rescind your offer if you negotiate. They will only take the offer back if you don’t negotiate professionally.

You are going to be locked into this salary for years, so before you accept you need to make sure you feel really good about the job offer if not you will grow bitter and resentful, and you will only have yourself to blame for accepting an offer that was too low to begin with.

Companies will always try to pay you as little as possible because “You get what you settle for”
