In September of last year I attended a symposium hosted by Fit to Live with Ms. Vivian Zapanta as the guest speaker. The idea of pursuing my instructor training had been floating around for quite a while, especially since I’ve been doing pilates for over 5 years already so hearing her story and getting to experience a class conducted by her made me think, ‘I want to be able to do this too’. In the coming days was when I started feeling unwell. I was diagnosed with Kikuchi-Fujimoto and it was after all the doctor’s appointments, tests, surgical biopsy, that I decided I needed to make a change. Fast forward to this year – I’m happy to share that last month I completed my STOTT Pilates Instructor Training Courses. 💪🏻 🎉 Incredibly grateful to my mentor, Ms. Vivian Zapanta, for the wisdom, guidance, patience, and encouragement throughout the entire process. Being able to learn from you and be around your energy is truly a blessing. You’ve inspired us all to be the best version of ourselves and I hope to make you proud! This experience has taught me that there’s so much more to learn about ourselves and our bodies.
